Saptagiri Degree College was established in 1981. The College was originally started as Junior College in 1979. Later it was upgraded into afull fledged Degree College. Since then the College has been Fulfilling the aspirations of the people of Vijayawada. Over the years it has achieved tremendous progress through quantities expansion and qualitative improvements on various academic fronts. It has been made possible by the relentless efforts of progressive management of “Saptagiri Education Society” and a large pool of dedicated faculty, an efficient team of non-teaching staff and responsive students. The college has been catering to the educational needs of the people who belong to below poverty line in the Krishna District.
